  How It Works / Use

  • The Galileo thermometer uses colored glass bulbs inside a liquid. As the temperature changes, the density of the surrounding liquid changes, causing bulbs to rise or sink. The lowest floating bulb gives the current temperature.

      • Low liquid level in the spout = higher pressure → fair weather expected.
